Join us for a living history weekend immersed in the martial & material culture of the latter half of the Hundred Years’ War. We will step into a military camp of the French and English, and a series of martial contests will be fought to determine the superior of the two forces. 

From unarmored duels to group skirmishes, to deeds of arms fought in head-to-toe armor, to feasting and hiking and singing and dancing, there is something here for everyone. There will be period food and clothing and camping throughout, and a grand feast Saturday night. Historical clothing appropriate to Western Europe in the late 14th through to the late 15th century should be worn.

This event is brought to you by the Company of the Lynx Argent! We are not exclusive to any organization; if you love history, reenactment, HEMA, or armored combat, we have a place for you.

Deeds of Arms

Don your armor and draw your weapons, or watch the grand spectacle as our knights and men-at-arms face each other in the lysts! Don't have a full harness? We have partially armored and unarmored deeds as well.

Historical Encampment

Set up your pavilion and experience what a medieval military encampment might feel like. We have options for medieval and modern camping, as well as other lodgings which can be rented for an additional fee.

Authentic Feast

Three square meals a day prepared the medieval way, made from period-appropriate ingredients according to period recipes. We roast over an open fire all day to keep your bellies fed!

Skirmishes

Join in the battle of France vs England for a brutal series of objective-based team fights featuring camp defense, field battles, and more.

Medieval Music & Dance

What kind of music existed in the medieval era? Come and find out from the lute to the hurdy gurdy to the lyre, or dance along according to medieval dances.

Artisans' Market

Artisans and merchants' stalls offer many handmade wares and good bargains to be found in camp. Or set out a blanket with some second-hand items and find them new owners.

New Location in Hinton, OK

Join us for our sixth year at La Campaigne, and our first year at a NEW site! This year, La Campaigne will be held at Red Rock Canyon Adventure Park, in Hinton, OK, 40 minutes West of OKC on I-40.

For long-time attendants who have grown tired of crossing the stream at Turner Falls back and forth so many times just to unload your car, this site is much more accessible yet still in its own secluded canyon away from modern aesthetics. No castle at this site, unfortunately, but our own spacious canyon that we can fill up with tents at our ease and liking is a beneficial trade-off. Don't like tent camping? Red Rock Canyon Adventure Park offers fully-furnished glamping tents, cabins, and even a camper to rent, and hotels are just a short 6 mile drive away.
